On the same November weekend that the City of Annapolis charter was signed back in 1708, the ASO will perform four works celebrating the evolution of symphonic music through the centuries by creating a commemorative recording, captured LIVE. From Corelli’s groundbreaking Concerto Grosso, written in 1708, to the definitive Beethoven Symphony No. 5 (1808), and Ravel’s arousing Rapsodie Espagnole (1908), the culminating touch will be an encore performance of Narong Prangcharoen Tri-Sattawat,the winning composition from our Annapolis Charter 300 Young Composers Competition.
